Victory Fasteners was approached to produce a bespoke Square Head Flange Screw with Milled Barrel Nut to fulfil a client's specific design requirements. This project highlights our capacity for in-house, single-source production and our expertise in custom-engineered fasteners, produced from initial concept through to final delivery.

Client Requirements

The client required a small batch of 150 pieces of a high strength fastening solution, crafted to precise drawing specifications. The materials specified were 10.9-grade stainless steel for its excellent tensile strength and durability, ideal for high-stress applications.

Solution & Process

Our team undertook a full assessment of the client’s design, ensuring that the engineering parameters were fully compatible with our in-house manufacturing processes. The project involved:

• Turning from Bar Stock: Using raw 10.9 stainless steel, the flange screws were precision-turned from bar stock, adhering to exact measurements as per the client’s design.
• In-House Milling and Threading: Both the screw and milled barrel nut underwent further custom milling and threading, each process completed on-site. This allowed us to maintain stringent quality control and adapt swiftly to any adjustments.
• Custom Engineering to Specification: Every stage of the process was verified against the client’s drawings, ensuring that each component met the precise tolerances required for the application.
